This region is the most important on the island, accommodation-wise. You’ll find many different types of accommodation, from luxury hotels to tiny rooms in local people’s own rooms.
The small inconveniences due to such an influx of tourists are compensated by the greatness of the sites: Bonifacio, the lady in white, dressed in white limestone cliffs; Porto-Vecchio and its dream beaches; Solenzara and the Coast of Nacres; Zonza and Bavella Massif; Quenza, the paradise of country sports; and Alta Rocca, the land of lords and ancestral rites.
