le village de Zonza et le massif de Bavella

This site is a real must, lined with eucalyptuses and, in the background, mountains. Here’s also the promise of a great trip up the Solenzara river, along what is called the Cote des Nacres (meaning Mother-of-pearls Coast), named after the famous shell that used to be in plentiful supply around here.

This region is extremely varied and boasts beautiful beaches, rivers and mountains. It’s a real ode to beauty - the famous Scaffa Rossa Beach at the mouth of the Solenzara River, and the gorgeous Canella, Favona and Tarco beaches, significantly less crowded than Porto-Vecchio.

If you prefer visiting the mountains, the Bavella massif awaits you with many hiking and horse-back riding paths, paths for quads and mountain bikes, via ferrata, canyoning and acrobranching. This beautiful region is pleasant and dynamic.
